Veterinarian

Dr. Sam McIlvanie, Dvm has been practicing veterinary medicine since graduating from WSU in 1990.  He takes a special interest in detailed diagnosis to make sure your little loved one is getting not just the best, but the correct care needed. He has a special interest in diagnostic ultrasound with 18 years of ultrasound experience including echocardiography. Dr McIlvanie has also taken additional courses in laparoscopic and arthroscopic surgery.













Technician

Diana joined Companion's team in the summer of 1998.  She is a graduate of Yakima Valley Community College Veterinary Technician Program and has been a licensed technician since 2001.  Diana's love of animals and compassionate, caring attitude are just a couple of reasons why she is a great tech.  Her skills aren't  too bad either!!!  Diana's family includes her husband, 2 kids and numerous dogs, cats and horses.










Reception

started working at Companion Animal Clinic in July 2017. She can be found answering phones, making appointments, and assisting Dr. McIlvanie and staff. She was raised in an animal-orientated family in Kansas and was a groomer for 13 years. She is newly married, has two kids, two step-kids, a cat and a dog.  She is an amateur photographer, paints and enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family and dog.





Assistant

Kaerli started working with Companion Animal Clinic in January of 2018. She enjoys working with animals and meeting new people. You will see her assisting during office calls and helping Dr McIlvanie. She lives on a small farm with her family and they have cats, chickens, goats, and miniature horses.
